Baseball: Williamstown stuns Cherry Hill West

POSTED: Monday, May 21, 2012, 7:50 PM

Mike Mosley pitched a two-hitter and Jordan Rizzo hit two home runs as Williamstown beat Cherry Hill West 9-1 in the first round of the SJ 4 tournament on Monday.

Mosley worked a complete game, striking out five with one walk. He also hit two batters. He faced just 27 batters.

Williamstown (14-8), the No. 9 seed, advanced to face top-seeded Washington Township on Friday.

Rizzo was 3-for-3 with an RBI single, a solo HR and a three-run HR in the top of the seventh. His second HR traveled close to 400 feet.

John Brady had two doubles for Williamstown.

Losing pitcher Brenden Del Monte allowed six runs on seven hits.

Freshman AJ Wright had an RBI double for CH West (15-10).
