Watch: Ben Simmons, assist machine

The whole reluctant-to-shoot thing is obviously going to have to resolve itself over time, but that is for later. In the here and now, after two games in the summer league, it is hard not to be captivated by Ben Simmons, the Sixers' assist machine.

No-look, behind-the-back, and everything in-between -- that is the Simmons repertoire that we have seen thus far. It speaks to a vision, and a confidence, that will make for a sturdy foundation on which to build. So while we wait for him to take a few shots, we can enjoy this impressive aspect of a young player's game.
