Video: Enormous Condor gets loose at minor league hockey game

The Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL put on a thrilling (and educational) production of Man vs. Wild before a recent game when the live condor they brought out for the national anthem got away from its trainer and tried to hang out with the players wearing his name across their chests.

First, we learned that condor is a HUMONGOUS BIG bird.

Second, man was not meant to hunt these birds with his bare hands while wearing sneakers on an ice-covered surface.

Finally, hockey players, no matter how tough they appear, are most definitely scared of big birds - no, not the character from Sesame Street.

Luckily, there was a camera rolling (with play-by-play from the commentators) to catch the trainer's epic fail.
