Marlins box office overrun by hysterical fans

The Miami Marlins aren't having a banner offseason.
They blew up their recently-purchased superstar squad, and have since made key signings like Juan Pierre, Placido Polanco, and Chone Figgins, giving fans little reason to show up at sparkling Marlins Park, which maintains its near-mint condition mostly due to its very, very little use.
Attendance numbers didn't erupt like they were supposed to 2012, when the franchise revamped itself in name, appearance, affiliation, and roster; they even had their own TV series for a while.
And now, in 2013, some baseball execs refuse to even acknowledge the Marlins are in the league.
Their fans, however, are a different story.

As Phillies single game tickets go on sale next week, we can only hope order prevails in our own town, so that we may escape the storm of chaos descending on the Magic City.
