Curt Schilling declares ISIS the winner of Tuesday’s debate

Curt Schilling is still really bad at Twitter.

It seems Curt Schilling still hasn't learned to temper his political comments on Twitter.

Since the three-time World Series champion and misguided comparer of things is suspended from ESPN for the rest of the Major League Baseball season, the outspoken conservative apparently filled his spare time last night watching the Democratic debate.

Everything was fine. Then Donald Trump sought help declaring a winner.

"First of all, I didn't see one minute of the debate," Schilling said during an interview with the Dennis & Callahan Show on Wednesday morning. "I was watching the [MLB] game. I thought, 'I know who's up there. I know what they're saying. I know who's going to win.' '"

"Somehow, people were saying, 'Oh my God, I can't believe you support ISIS.' I swear to God," Schilling said. "I was like, 'Wait, what?' I thought it was a joke, but then they started getting liberal and vile, so I figured it wasn't."

Clearly, Schilling is still really bad at Twitter, and might want to stick to tweeting just about baseball if he wants to stay employed by ESPN.

Here's a small sampling of the response Schilling received after the misplaced joke.
