Cowboys fan suing NFL for $89 billion over Dez Bryant catch

Look, we all saw the catch.

This catch being overturned marked the point that the Cowboys Are Good Again phenomenon died down. They might still be good, but at least we don't have to watch them win a Super Bowl.

But for some people the season will never be over. A man named Terry Hendrix is taking the NFL to task for disallowing Dez Bryant's incredible non-catch from the Cowboys' playoff gamae against the Packers. In a celebration of National Handwriting Day, presumably, Hendrix scrawled his lawsuit by hand from his prison cell in Colorado.

Hendrix's list of defendants:

  1. The NFL

  2. Roger Goodell

  3. Referee Gene Steratore

  4. Head of officiating Dean Blandino

He is seeking the very normal amount of $88,987,654,321.88, citing terms like "fraud," "gross negligence," "Dallas Cowboys fans," and "the sovereign republic of Texas," so you know he means business.

Of course, should this work, we've entered a new age of NFL fandom.
