Chip Kelly is a different kind of coach. He demonstrated this with the Eagles explosive approach to offense in their Monday night victory over the Washington Redskins.
Throughout their 33-27 victory, the Eagles looked like a completely different team than they did last season, creating turnovers, holding the line, and of course putting up some points.
There was a lot to see throughout Kelly's NFL debut, but perhaps the most unique site was seen on the Eagles own sideline.
Those are Eagles coaches, using giant flashcards with the likeness of Rocky and The Phillie Phanatic, among others to signal plays.
Apparently traditional play-calling methods are as boring to Chip as a slow-tempo offense.
