Brewery Ommegang's Philly Hop Chef competition took place last night at Union Transfer. The event featured six local culinary stars who were given the task of pairing beers with their dishes.

Brewery Ommegang's Philly Hop Chef competition took place last night at Union Transfer. The event featured six local culinary stars who were given the task of pairing beers with their dishes.

Competing chefs included Eli Kulp of Fork, Yun Fuentes of JG Domestic, Lucio Palazzo of La Calaca Feliz, Nick Macri of Southwark, Pat Szoke of The Industry and Mike Deganis of Alla Spina. A portion of the proceeds were donated to the Mural Arts Program and Groundswell.

The People's Choice winner was Yun Fuentes of JG Domestic and the judges winner was Nick Macri of Southwark.
