The 14th Annual Women of Substance and Style event, hosted by Joan Shepp, was held inside the Shops at Liberty Place on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014. The event honors 39 successful African-American women in Philadelphia. Honorees included women with a variety of professions including judges, reporters, and philanthropists.

A portion of the proceeds from the event went to Philabundance, a hunger relief organization. Attendees shopped and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails for a good cause.
