The 2014 inaugural Forbes Under 30 Summit took place in Philadelphia, and kicked off Sunday, October 19th, with a live music celebration that featured performances by Afrojack, Wiz Khalifa, LP, and OCD: Moosh and Twist.

There were many notable speakers, including the city's own Mayor Nutter, who endorsed Philadelphia's conducive environment for young professionals and entrepreneurs.

The event was held at a venue that rings true with the targeted demographics of the summit – the Piazza at Schmidt’s – where many of Philadelphia’s own young professionals reside.
