The best movie theaters in America are… not in Philly!
Flavorpill rounds up the top dozen cinema venues in the States, and while New York and Baltimore have several, Philadelphia is found sorely lacking.
If ever there was impetus to get the restoration of the landmark-in-limbo Boyd Theater back on track, it's the photo of the Paramount Theater in Oakland, Calif., in Flavorpill's roundup of the 12 best movie theaters in America. Can you imagine if there was a similarly splendid screen venue on Chestnut Street, a couple of blocks from Rittenhouse Square, that looked like this?!
