Radnor Township Police arrested and charged Yeadon resident Richard Little, a teacher at Presbyterian Children's Village, with punching a female student in the face.
Main Line Media News reports that 41-year-old Little, who claims the student threw chalk at him, was charged with aggravated and simple assault, as well as other related charges.
Radnor police say the incident occurred at the Radnor school, which caters to children victims of violence, neglect and other serious conditions, at 10:19 a.m. on Jan. 23. Little requested help from an on-duty supervisor at Children’s Village for help with the student he said threw chalk at him.
According to the Media News, the supervisor told police he saw chalk on the floor and asked Little to leave the classroom. Little instead pulled the student in the hallway and was seen punching her in the face hard enough to cause her to bleed.
