Lower Merion Township seeks community volunteers for comprehensive plan

Lower Merion Township doesn't have an updated comprehensive plan – the last time the township created one was in 1979.

But the township is moving toward a plan and asking the community for input. It announced a search for volunteers to be on five committees to discuss land use, housing, circulation, community facilities and infrastructure and energy and water resources conservation.

Applications are due by Dec. 30., so if you're interested in applying, visit the township's website to find out more about each committee. Then email us here at Neighbors. We want to know why you're applying, and what exactly you think needs to be done in the township.
