We don't think the Eagles will beat the Redskins on Sunday, but if they do, they'll need either the Falcons or Bucs to lose either of their final two to have a shot at the wild card.

SI.com's Don Banks has the Eagles 14th in his power rankings:

The Eagles have their first three-game winning streak of the season, and at just the right time. Philly fans are big Vikings fans this week, and not just because the two organizations had Cris Carter and Randall Cunningham in common. Minnesota plays hosts to the Falcons, and the Eagles desperately need Atlanta to lose this one to clear their path to the playoffs. The Falcons are home against the Rams in Week 17, so it's now or never for Philly.

ESPN.com has the Eagles 13th in its power rankings:

You can't bury this team because the Eagles always play well in December. They have a great opportunity, but they need a little help.

ESPN.com's Matt Mosley gives his analysis of the potential Pro Bowl snubs on the Eagles roster:

Brian Westbrook is certainly playing better than Clinton Portis at this point of the year, but injuries kept him out of the Pro Bowl mix. Eagles defensive end Trent Cole has quietly had a solid season, but he doesn't have the sack totals that attract voters.  Stewart Bradley has been playing really well at middle linebacker, but he came on too late to catch the voters' attention. And Eagles fans didn't stuff the ballots like the Redskins.

Here's another team making a seemingly doomed playoff push a little late. Admit it or not, the entire team needed a swift slap in the face last month -- and the Donovan McNabb benching was that slap.

Pete Prisco of CBSsports.com has the Eagles ranked 13th in his power rankings.

Maybe that benching was just what Donovan McNabb needed. He has been a different player since.

Prisco thinks that Eagles safety Brian Dawkins got a Pro Bowl nod on his reputation alone:

A reputation in the NFL is worth a lot -- like an all-expense paid trip to the Pro Bowl.  Take Dawkins. He's been a wonderful player in his career, maybe even a Hall of Fame player, but he hasn't been the best safety on his team. That goes to Quintin Mikell.

USA Today has the Eagles 11th in its power rankings.

Yahoo Sports agrees with John Smallwood's column earlier this week saying that 10 wins may not be enough for the Eagles to make the playoffs:

Thanks to that ugly tie against lowly Cincinnati last month, it's much easier to figure out the Eagles' playoff chances. A 10-5-1 record beats 10-6, but loses to 11-5.
