Donovan McNabb and Tom Brady got new deals earlier this year. Peyton Manning is a free agent after the season. How will those things affect Michael Vick and his future?
Andrew Brandt, president of the National Football Post, joined me to answer that question in the final installment of our three-part video series on Vick.
The first two parts:
Part 1: The right time to sign Vick
Part 2: Will Vick be loyal to the Eagles?
And earlier Tuesday, I posted on LeSean McCoy, Brian Westbrook and the 2009 draft.

Vick should be able to test the market to get his true monetary value, otherwise the Eagles can low-ball Vick by franchising him. Jerry Jones would maybe willing to pay $150 million for him, as well as the Vikings who has a team with a Pro Bowl RB & WR's. There's no question that with Vick improves your teams chances to get into the Super Bowl. I hope he stays with the Eagles, but if teams will not extend players contracts during the season for fear of a strike & the CBA, it isn't fair that they can prevent(franchise)the said player from being signed by another team that is willing to pay. gditty
I love video blogs! They're especially great to watch at work. DennyP- Denny, I agree with you. I NEVER take the time to watch a video blog and I don't even look at this page while at work. In fact, I read the comments here only to glean if any new information was offered in the video. And, if there was, I still wouldn't watch it, I'd try to get it from the comments. If this site was more reliable with their little video icon and never placed it next to article links that also had significant text on them, I'd never link out to them, either.
Vick's greatest redemption for QB Market would be a SB win. Period. However, his Talents on the field and good deeds off the field has been shown of good faith. Hes going to get a big contract, the Eagles just like to drag their feet in case he gets injured. gauwow
Drop ron mexico and let him rot in oakland. That is where he belongs anyway. Senile al davis, along with jerry jones, and the only owners crazy enough to give him 40 mil in guarentees. Trade Kolb, and trade up in the draft next year for Andrew Luck. Time to start over at QB. the king has spoken. iamkingdunlap
