Limbaugh talks McNabb, ESPN
Sheil Kapadia, Philly.com
Back in October of 2003, Rush Limbaugh resigned from ESPN after an uproar over comments he made about Donovan McNabb.
As you probably remember, Limbaugh said the media overrated McNabb because they wanted to see a black quarterback succeed.
More than six years later, he's bringing up the incident once again.
Limbaugh heard ESPN Radio host Erik Kuselias say McNabb was underrated in Philadelphia but overrated nationally last week.
Per Limbaugh's Web site, here's the exact quote from Kuselias:
"He's had a public fight with Rush Limbaugh, I don't mean the two of them, it was a polarizing issue. He's a had a public fight with T.O. He's been sort of underrated in his own city and maybe overrated nationally at the same time, it's been crazy!"
Limbaugh apparently saw no difference between what he said about McNabb and what Kuselias said.
He responded:
"What was that? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa hold it a minute. Is he still working there? Erik Kuselias has just said Donovan McNabb has been overrated nationally. Erik Kuselias just said that McNabb's been overrated nationally. Erik, if they zap you outta there, call me. I got some ideas."
Seahawks add Foley
The Seattle Seahawks have signed pass rusher Rickey Foley, his agent announced on Twitter. Reports surfaced earlier this month that the Eagles were one of the teams who worked him out. Foley, 27, led the CFL with 12 sacks last season.

Limbaugh said he was overrated because he was black and the "media" loves that. As opposed to saying a lot of sports journalists think McNabb is real good, and I don't happen to agree with them{then explain}. Instead, he did some wierd politically motivated commentary, as opposed to Sunday NFL sports journalism banter. McNabb's not overrated nationally anyway. He's perceived the way he is, a brittle winner who hasn't gotten it done in the end. Not many have. Plus he covered in the Super Bowl. Off him. Saying Dustin Hoffman is an overrated actor is one thing. Saying Dustin Hoffman is an overrated actor because he is a Jew and Hollywood loves Jews is another. Get it? If you're gonna get specific, don't be a dummy. Or be like Kuselius and don't be specific at all, avoiding the opportunity to be a dummy. LostAngelbird- Who cares? What does this dude have to do with the Eagles in any way. If he said 5 was great, I wouldn't care either. Bottom line, Kolb deserves a shot this year to start. Corey301

Sheil they pay you to write this stuff? Navyfaninatl- Limbaugh injected race into his argument - never a good idea for a white male.
NFL owners could not careless what is the color of their QB's skin. Rest of the team (almost) would be black anyway. They care about winning and selling their product. Limbaugh is hate peddler, not a businessman. Racist like Limbaugh is a bad ideal for all NFL owners. Businesses don't want discontent among it's employees. But HATE is what Limbaugh's business model is all about. Seed
McNabb is an Eagle because the franchise value went from 250 million to 1.1 billion while he was here. After his departure, the franchise value will drop like a rock if Eagles can not find another franchise QB. It is simple business. McNabb delivers.... Seed
McNabb is an Eagle for 11 years and will be the franchise QB for another 3-5 years because the team wins. With 92 wins he is among the top 15 QB in NFL history. In another 3-5 years we will be top 5 QB in NFL history. Teams care about winning and McNabb delivers... Seed

Dr. Michael said "11 years of the same movie" yeah I much rather have the movie played in Detroit, Cleveland, Dallas, Washington etc in the last eleven years. That's like saying a director who has 8 hits in his last eleven years, 5 golden globe nominations and an oscar nomination blows and should never shoot a movie again. Please go root the saints you fair weather fan who doesn't have a clue about what Reid has done for the eagles. mjposner
