CSX Railroad to Close Township Line Road for Rail Crossing Replacement

King of Prussia – CSX Railroad will close Township Line Road between North Wales Road and Erbs Mill Road in East Norriton and Whitpain townships, Montgomery County, on Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9 for the installation of a new rail crossing, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Township Line Road will be closed and detoured from 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 9. 

A posted detour will take drivers over North Wales Road, Germantown Pike, and Swede Road. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to www.511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways before heading out.
