Three hundred pieces of fire apparatus are set to wind through the streets of Norristown on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Some are antiques. For example, we saw firefighters tuning up their open-air mustard and red firetruck outside Washie’s in Conshohocken on Sunday, in readiness for the parade. She looked to be in mint condition.
The parade starts at Buttonwood and Marshall Streets and heads south on Astor Street. Then it turns east on Main Street. It will end at Arch Street. The parade will include marching bands and a Mariachi band, as well as the firetrucks.
