Dr. William Jenaway, chief of the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company, has been named to the editorial advisory board of Fire Chief Magazine.
He is one of only eight fire chiefs from across the nation that serves on the board.
Established in 1956, the magazine is written for fire officers from across the country and overseas.
It covers a wide variety of topics that are important to today's firemen.
The magazine’s monthly circulation is slightly over 52,000 readers. The majority are chief officers, with a sizable contingent of training officers, safety officers and others.
"I have read this magazine since I was kid, and my dad would bring it home from fire company meetings. This is truly an honor for me to serve in this role," Jenaway said.
Jenaway has been active with the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company for over 30 years. He is also an elected township supervisor in Upper Merion.
