Vote For Philadelphia Apprentice on Dancing With The Stars

Last night on Dancing With the Stars there was an announcement about a costume contest. The public votes on their favorite costume to be worn by 2 dancers at a later date.  Five finalists have been announced, one of which is local Amanda Wolff from Dresher, PA.  Amanda in one of our costume apprentices this season at the Walnut Street Theatre.

The voting has begun on the Dancing With the Stars website (http://abc.go.com/shows/dancing-with-the-stars/costume-vote) and closes tomorrow at midnight.  I’m writing to you all to see if you wouldn’t mind sharing this link with your readers/viewers/listeners any way you can (facebook, twitter, etc) to help support Amanda!

If Amanda wins, her costume will be made and worn by one of the couples on Dancing With the Stars.  So far audiences have voted on the style of dance (which will be the pasodoble) and the song (Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance).

Amanda was interviewed about this yesterday, check it out here: http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/video?id=8415234

About this blog

I’m a Libra so I’m all about pretty things. We of the scales sign know what we like, and our standards are high.

So I can’t help but love fashion – one day I will get that Diane von Furstenberg wrap and those Christian Louboutin shoes.

And fragrances? My favorite right now is Chanel Mademoiselle. As for makeup, can we say MAC?

So let’s thank the Greek goddess of beauty, Aphrodite, that a true fashionista can find everything she needs right here in Philly.

I’ve covered fashion here for six years, and I have traveled to New York, Los Angeles and Paris to write about local and national designers. Let me tell you, there is no place where people wear midnight Eagles green or Phillies red with such wild abandon as they do on the west side of the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Sound familiar? This blog is for you.
