Sarah Palin's Combo-Do

Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's speech did not waver Wednesday evening, but her hairdo did. After a day long debate during which fashion pundits tried to figure out if the Alaska governor would pin her raven mane up, or let it flow, Palin settled on an in between look, sort of a combo-do.  It  reminded me of seventh grade. But oh well, it managed to give her a softer look than the beehive she introduced herself to the world in. The cream jacket and pearls was a much softer touch than her tailored black suits. But don't let the softer image fool you, Palin was tough. Dagger like. Whether you agree with her politics, or not, she delivered a speech that connected her to her supporters. That speech, combined with her down home style,  that I'm sure the GOP is not finished with yet - will make the Palin/McCain ticket a force Obama and Biden will have to reckon with. What do you think of the combo-do? Do you feel a makeover coming on?
