This Valentine's Day, send your love a personalized song for $1

The time has come for all you last-minute lovebugs to figure out how you’re going to outdo yourselves after last year’s Valentine’s Day extravaganza.

The time has come for all you last-minute lovebugs to figure out how you're going to outdo yourselves after last year's Valentine's Day extravaganza.

New York-based funny-music production company Deep V Music gets it. In collaboration with funny-music makers The Gregory Brothers, Deep V Music has launched MadLoves, the romantic, personalized song-delivery version of Mad Libs (that thing where you fill blank spaces with random words and create silly — or serious, it's your life — stories).

MadLoves works like this: Visit the MadLoves website, fill in seven blank spaces in the pre-written MadLoves template, pay $1 and The Gregory Brothers with Deep V Music will compose an original song for your lover. On Valentine's Day, the MadLove will slide into your Valentine's email inbox.

But wait. Who are these guys, and do you really want them singing to your Valentine?

The Gregory Brothers have over 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube and are the geniuses behind the viral comedy video "Auto-Tune the News." They've worked with T-Pain, Tosh.0, Weezer, Adidas, NPR and Chipotle. Deep V Music is a jingle house that has composed things for NASCAR, Depend, Ogilvy & Mather, and The Key of Awesome.

If you need one more reason to take this unconventional Valentine's Day gift route, all of the proceeds will go to benefit Music & Memory, a nonprofit organization that trains nursing home staff, elder care professionals and other caregivers to help the elderly, especially those struggling with cognitive and physical challenges, through personalized music.
