Two local hotels are celebrating the lift on the same-sex marriage ban in Pennsylvania.

Hotel Monaco and Hotel Palomar are members of the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Group, a corporation that has long been in support of LGBTQ rights.

Both boutique hotels are launching a "Philly Gaycation" package. The deal includes the hotel's guide to the Gayborhood, VIP access to Philly's premier gay nightlife spots and a $5 per night donation to the Trevor Project, an organization dedicated to crisis support and suicide prevention in the LGBTQ youth community.

Kimpton Hotels is the first national hotel sponsor of the Trevor Project. The boutique hotel chain has locations in major cities across the country including New York, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles.

In February 2014, Mayor Nutter announced that Kimpton Hotels would be opening a third Philadelphia location in the Family Court building at 1801 Vine Street.
