Trombone Shorty added to Philadelphia Folk Festival lineup
The Americana-heavy Philadelphia Folk Festival lineup, which features Steve Earle, John Hiatt and Lucinda Williams as Saturday headliners, gets considerably funkier with the addition of New Orleans brass man Trombone Shorty.
The Americana-heavy Philadelphia Folk Festival lineup, which features Steve Earle, John Hiatt and Lucinda Williams as Saturday headliners, gets considerably funkier with the addition of New Orleans brass man Trombone Shorty. The bandleader born Troy Andrews, who also plays the trumpet, has been added to the Sunday night bill at the fest, which runs from August 17-19 at the Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford near Schwenksville in Bucks County.
