The Shins To Headline Popped! Fest in FDR Park in September

The fourth incarnation of the growing Popped! Festival will be held in FDR Park in South Philadelphia on September 23-24, with an impressive who's who of indie lineup that includes The Shins, Girl Talk, The Hold Steady, Panda Bear, The Pains Of Being Pure of Heart (that's them), white-girl rapper Kreayshawn, Cults and Rakim. This is all according to Pitchfork, who reported as much this morning. It should be noted that this is the very same weekend that the Philadelphia Film & Music Festival, which is scheduled for September 22-25 and has yet to announce its lineup, is set to occur in Northern Liberties. It's an open question as whether there are enough hipsters in town to populate both fests. Kreayshawn's "Gucci Gucci" is below.
