The long farewell to the Spectrum with carry on at least until the end of October. Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam will close a North American tour that kicks off Sept. 21 in their hometown of Seattle with two shows in South Philadelphia on Oct. 28 and 30. Tickets go on sale at Comcasttix.com and Livenation.com on July 17th at 10 a.m. The band's ninth studio album, Backspacer, comes out Sept. 20th, and a best of collection, The Lowdown, is to be released Tuesday.
