Mick Responds

Well, not really. It's actually Bill Wyman who's responding to Keith Richards memoir Life, in this piece published in Slate on Friday titled Please Allow Me To Correct A Few Things. And not Bill Wyman, the former bass player of the Stones who left the band in 1992.  It's Bill Wyman the rock critic, who wrote this response to Keith in the make believe yet quite believable voice of Mick, in response to the charges of having a big head and a "tiny todger." It's quite well done, and puts Keith's turning cars over and falling asleep in the studio with a loaded gun under his pillow antics in a high likely context: Keith could afford to be a badass, because Mick was taking care of business. My review of Life is here.
