We'll be livestreaming a chat with the Fishtown band The War on Drugs right here November 16th at 1 pm. Feel free to go ahead and enter any questions you have for these guys. The Adam Granduciel-led band is back home in Philadelphia after completing the first leg of their U.S. tour for their sterling second album, Slave Ambient.
My interview with Granduciel, which ran in the Inquirer back in August, is here. Today, TWOD will be in Range Recording studios in Ardmore to cut a Live In The Mix session that will be up on the Inquirer tablet app and philly.com in the coming weeks. The band will hit the road again on December 3 in Harrisburg, and willopen for The National at the Beacon Theater in New York on December 12. The big hometown War On Drugs gig is at Union Transfer in Philadelphia on Dec. 17. Full itinerary here.
