Jill Scott's "Shame"

Last month, now Los Angeles-based soul songstress Jill Scott was back in North Philadelphia to shoot the video for "Shame," the first single from the sometime-singer sometime-actress' album Light Of The Sun, due out June 28. It's a different song than the Evelyn "Champagne" King hit of the same name, but it does capture Jilly From Philly in a more glittery dance party groove than usual. The clip below isn't the actual "Shame," but a behind the scenes clip, with Philadelphia rappers Eve and Black Thought from the Roots both showing up on screen, and it's an indicator of the upbeat-and-empowered direction Scott appears to be headed in.
