Elizabeth Cook at the Tin Angel

Elizabeth Cook plays the Tin Angel tonight. The Nashville firecracker - originally from Wildwood, Florida - is an impressive multi-tasker. In addition to her songwriting and singing skills, amply displayed on last year's twangy and tough-minded Welder (which was produced by Don Was), she's the host of the Apron Strings radio show on Sirius/XM satellite radio, which has recently moved from morning drive time on the Outlaw Country channel to the more reasonable mid-day 10 to 2 shift. I interviewed her in Austin, Texas last year. That story is here. "Sometimes It Takes Balls To Be A Woman," from 2007's Balls, is below. Show info here.
