Bob Dylan, My Morning Jacket coming to the Mann

Separately, that is. But both Dylan, who brings his fresh-from-China Never Ending Tour to the Fairmount Park amphitheater on Aug. 17, and My Morning Jacket, the Louisville, Kentucky formidable live act due Aug. 23 who have just released their sixth album, Circuital, will arrive with opening acts of impressive stature in tow. With Dylan, it's Leon Russell, the storied piano man whose comeback is underway thanks to an album of duets with Elton John. With MMJ, it's more-than-just-alt-country chanteuse Neko Case, who hopefully will be teaming up for some duets of her own with MMJ's similarly distinctive voiced Jim James. Info on both shows on the Mann Center site here. My Morning Jacket above, "Subterranean Homesick Blues" (and Allen Ginberg) below.
