When now-bankrupt Lenny Dykstra pawned his Phillies and Mets championship rings this Spring as he struggled to raise cash to keep his mansions, Tokyo-TV was in the pawnshop that day, talked to Dykstra, and filmed all. In Japanese, of course. Nails comes on camera just after the three-minute mark. Video link here.

Deadspin.com offers a "rough translation" of Dykstra's remarks here.

Earlier: Ventura County Star talks to Dykstra's pawnbroker at South Wilshire Jewelry and Pawn here.

The pawnshop has listed Dykstra's Mets World Series and Phillies National League championship rings for sale online here. Auction scheduled Oct. 2.
