Comcast cuts call jobs in CA, FL, IL, adds in PA: report

"Comcast notified officials in Florida earlier this week that it will cut 260 employees from a facility in Orlando," reports FierceCable. The Philadelphia-based telecom giant "has cut more than 1,000 employees at call centers in several states in the last year, including California and Illinois. It's also beefed up staffing at other call centers, including a facility in its home state of Pennsylvania."
