"By mimicking the swarming behaviors of birds, fish and insects,  (Alex) Kushleyev and (Daniel) Mellinger, along with the Engineering School’s deputy dean of education Vijay Kumar, are helping scientists and engineers create smarter, faster and more flexible robots," Penn Engineering reports here.
