Penn State 46, Michigan 17

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- The Michigan curse is no more. Penn State survived a shaky first half and a determined Michigan team and eventually danced away from the Wolverines, 46-17. Trailing 17-7, the Lions scored 39 unanswered points and ended a nine-game losing streak to the Michigan.

One of the key moments came when defensive tackle Jared Odrick sacked Michigan quarterback Nick Sheridan for a safety. The two points broke a 17-17 tie in the middle of the third quarter and then the floodgates opened.
