Penn State wrestling squad ranked No. 1

The Penn State wrestling team, the reigning national and Big Ten champions, will enter the season ranked No. 1, according to the Intermat preseason rankings.

Iowa is No. 2, Oklahoma State is No. 3 and Minnesota is No. 4. Cornell and Lehigh are tied for fifth.

Three Nittany Lion wrestlers, Quentin Wright (184), Frank Molinaro (149) and David Taylor (165), are ranked No. 1 in their respective weight classes.

Penn State opens its season on Nov. 3 with an intrasquad dual at Rec Hall.
