Odds on the identity of PSU football coach

Former Florida coach Urban Meyer is the 2-1 favorite to become Penn State's next head football coach, according to odds published Friday by Bodog.com.

Here are the other candidates mentioned by the web site as possible successors to Joe Paterno. All are head coaches; their current schools are in parentheses:

Al Golden (Miami) 9-2

Mike London (Virginia) 5-1

Kevin Sumlin (Houston) 11-2

Pat Fitzgerald (Northwestern) 6-1

Dan Mullen (Mississippi State) 8-1

Kirk Ferentz (Iowa) 8-1

Tom Bradley (Penn State)  10-1

Chris Peterson (Boise State) 10-1

Greg Schiano (Rutgers) 25-1.

The web site listed former college and NFL head coach, and current ESPN broadcaster, Jon Gruden at 50-1.
