Nick Sukay done

According to the Week 1 game notes released just moments ago, redshirt freshman safety Nick Sukay is likely done for the season after having surgery for sesmoiditis in his right foot. Sesmoiditis, in case you didn't know, is an inflammation of the sesamoid bone (I didn't know either and had to check it out online).

Sukay was expected to battle for one of the backup or third-string spots at either safety position. He may be able to earn a medical redshirt.
