Cornerback Stephon Morris did not travel with the Nittany Lions to Northwestern for undisclosed reasons. Wide receiver and former West Catholic Curtis Drake made his first road trip of the season. Drake hasn't played since Penn State's 34-6 win over Eastern Michigan on Sept. 24. Drake, who has broken his leg twice since 2010, was still having soreness in his leg and had also been having academic issues. Coach Joe Paterno said Tuesday that Drake has "really come around" academically but was still having problems with his leg.
