Running backs Bill Belton and Derek Day are listed as probable for Penn State's Big Ten opener at Illinois.

Both Belton (ankle) and Day (shoulder), the Nittany Lion's top two backs, missed the last two games with injury.

Offensive lineman Donovan Smith (ankle), fullback Mike Zordich (bruised knee) and defensive end Sean Stanley (back) are also probable on Penn State's game notes, released Monday.

Injury-plagued Pete Massaro, a Marple Newton graduate, is "possible."
