SOCHI – The International Olympic Committee will not permit athletes to memorialize freestyle skier Sarah Burke, killed in a January ski accident, with helmet stickers.
One who tried, Australian snowboarder Tora Bright, was told to remove it.
"It's a question of what's apropriate," IOC spokesman Mark Adams said at Monday's briefing. "we have huge sympathy and she needs to be well-remembered [but] the competitions themselves are not the right place."
