Quakers peaking

Karli Tobin and her Moorestown field hockety teammates seem to be peaking for the playoffs at the right time.

The Quakers (15-2-1) handed Delran its first loss of the season, 3-1, last Friday when Tobin scored twice and Liz Horten added another goal.

Moorestown, ranked No. 5 by The Inquirer and seeded second in Central Jersey Group 3, was supposed to finish the regular season yesterday against Haddonfield. But Neil Rosa, Moorestown's athletic director, said rain caused a postponement until tomorrow.
