Hopefully they'll both rot in Graterford's Fumo Wing.

I'm by no means a Fumo backer, but I do have to say that Vinnie's comment was possibly the dumbest thing ever. Yeah, I'm sure Obama has the pardon speech already prepared. [/sarcasm]

Vinnie Gambone. why do you think it took so long to indict Fumo? Guy had every judge in his back pocket along with every city board and agency.

It's sad that anyone would revel in, and admire an obviously corrupt politician - because he brings home the bacon. Surely his same admirers are many of the same who are so repulsed by corruption and theft in general.

Hopefully, they'll have a Fumo Family started in the federal prison. But seriously, I think Fumo, Shamsud-din Ali, Milton, and the "community activists" who "made mistakes" that landed their dealing butts in the fed pen will all have a lot of campaign strategizing to do for when they get out. Just hope the city seizes their assets for back taxes first. Fumo is the single word explanation for why PA needs serious campaign finance and ethics reform statewide. Fumo.

Imagine what more could have been done in the communities with all the money Fumo stole from Citizens Alliance. Yeah, he's a great guy.

What? So in your view, that entitles him to steal money from a nonprofit? Please. He shook down PECO for $$ for his "nonprofit" then stole the money for himself. He hasn't done anything for my part of the city. I'm looking forward to the perp walk.

Chr - please ignore the comments of juror10 aka juror13 dSmith, mitchell rubin etc. I agree with your comments as well as those from CleanupPhilly, TonyS etc. What fumo has done breaking the law far exceeds any good - it is a stupid and desperate argument being used by the fumo defense team, which explains the identity of juror10. I have sat there now for 3 weeks and cannot believe what fumo has done. Despite the defense trying to taint the witnesses a common thread is obvious in all the testimony - fumo broke the law.

Hey juror10 formerly juror13 someone else would have done the senate work in an ethical manner! It is amazing that EVERYONE is saying the SAME exact thing on the stand. A meat saw?? Tools? Trips? ALL on our dime! I don't care what he did for the city, it does not give him the right to use a non-profit as his ATM.

Mitch getting any splinters yet? Must be tough. We miss you at the office. Are you person #5 in the indictment?
