Been lots of talk about the bloggery lately - the New York magazine blow-out, the Dave Sifry big-headed, long-tailed State of the Blogosphere, Daniel Gross's splash of cold water in Salon.

And now this.

As the U of Chicago's Daniel Drezner put it:

Further evidence that the blogosphere has died -- William Safire has a column on its jargon in the New York Times Magazine.

Safire actually types the phrase "simultaneous blogasm." And somewhere in Florida, my mother has fainted.
