Michael Vick and Andy Reid
Michael Vick's monster contract brings up one question -- what's Andy Reid doing?

FACT No. 1: the Eagles’ offensive line is a mess.
FACT No. 2: the Eagles sign Michael Vick for $100 million over six years.
REACTION: Don’t you have to wonder if Andy Reid is making the same mistake Buddy Ryan made with Randall Cunningham -- simply hand him the ball and expect the quarterback to pull the rabbit out of the hat every other down.
Buddy, a defensive genius, thought you could put milk cartons out there for an OL and Randall would get it done. Surely Andy Reid, a former lineman himself, knows better than that.
Doesn't he?

It reminds me of when the Sixers signed Mutombo fully well knowing that he couldn't put them over the top but they had to do it anyway. Especially since Brown wasn't gonna be there to see the future. UncleStosh
Uncle, did you know that Payton Manning average 16 interceptions a year, 198 over 12 years, as compared to Vick's 7 per year, 58 over 8 years. Where are you gathering your facts, or do Facts matter in your narrative? The Eagles have receivers that basically strength the defense. Celek drops balls so there is no precision game with the Eagles. What exactly have you been watching when the Eagles are playing? Defenses play the Eagles by leaving their Safeties deep to protect against the deep ball, Jackson and Macklin aren't threats to cross the middle of the defense.
I think you're making up your arguments on Mike Vick. Can you list in what year Vick has thrown for more interceptions than Payton Manning averages?
I agree with you on his luck last year, he was lucky playing behind that Phila Line he was not killed on the Job. Dexter
