Delays at PHL due to weather

Travelers should expect delays at Philadelphia International Airport due to weather conditions Friday.

Federal Aviation Administration halted flights that were to arrive at the airport for nearly an hour. The ground stop was lifted shortly after 8:30 a.m., but airport officials said continued delays were expected.

The airport was warning travelers that rain could affect flights throughout the day.
