2 SEPTA Regional Rail lines suspended

Service on SEPTA's Trenton and Chestnut Hill West Regional Rail lines was suspended due to downed Amtrak wires on a track, the transit agency said in an alert at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Trenton service was expected to resume around 3:30 p.m., but SEPTA said customers should plan for delays of up to 15 minutes and possible cancellation of some inbound trains when service does resume.

The Chestnut Hill West Line was not expected to resume until 4 p.m.

Amtrak was experiencing delays as well on its service between Philadelphia and New York, he said.

SEPTA said customers can find alternate travel options at http://www.septa.org/stations/rail/stations.shtml.
