Cops: Cybill Shepherd's son 'moonlighting' as mile-high thief

The son of actress Cybill Shepherd was arrested upon arrival at Philadelphia International Airport just after midnight this morning after witnesses identified him as an in-flight thief, according to reports.

Several passengers identified Cyrus Shepherd-Oppenheim, 22, of Sepastopol, Calif., as the man who had gone through their luggage during United Airlines Flight 186 from San Francisco while most passengers were sleeping.

Stolen items included a Cannon digital camera, a leather makeup case, a small travel bag and cash, police said.

Shepherd-Oppenheim is charged with theft, unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
