Vogue Italia features first solo Chinese cover model
Fei Fei Sun is the first-ever Chinese model to cover Vogue Italia on her own. The 2013 cover, which was shot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel and styled by Lori Goldstein, was released Wednesday with the accompanying headline, "Global Life." The actual issue hits stands Thursday, Jan. 4. On the fashion spread, Vogue Italia writes, "Fusion elegance. The language of style is universal: border-free. Thus, by evoking the exotic and sophisticated allure of China Machado, the fusion icon of the Fifties, a story of elegance and refinement is recounted." (Vogue Italia, Models.com)

When it comes to the cold, stars pull all sorts of savvy style secrets out of their closets. For Carly Rae Jepsen, it was long underwear, which she wore beneath her blazing red maxi skirt during her New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest performance Monday night. She later tweeted, "Had a blast performing in Times Square! Nobody knew i had long johns under my skirt ... till now;)" What's next? Onesies? (Twitter)
Sofia Vergara's dress rips after scuffle in club
Speaking of a rockin' New Year's Eve, Sofia Vergara and her man, Nick Loeb, were reportedly thrown out of a Miami club after Loeb initiated a brawl in the venue's VIP section. According to a bystander, the fight escalated and this happened: "Sofia stepped in to try to calm the situation, but somehow she ended up getting pushed and shoved also. Her strapless dress was torn or pulled down in the melee, exposing her cleavage in front of other people."
Is it just us or is Vergara busting out of her clothes more frequently than expected? A similar incident occured during the Golden Globes, practically moments before Vergara, TV's highest-paid actress, received an Emmy. (Page Six)
