The day before Whitney Houston passed away, E! aired an episode of Joan Rivers and her Fashion Police co-stars bashing the singer for her poor fashion choices.

The scheduled rebroadcast of the episode was subsequently- and abruptly- pulled by the network, only to be replaced by Khloe and Lamar.

However, Rivers says she has no regrets. The critic attended the Badgley Mischka show on Tuesday to tape an episode of Fashion Police with co-star Kelly Osbourne. After the show, she told reporters, "When she's alive, she's fair game. It's part of being a celebrity."

She continued, "If Angelina Jolie died tomorrow, I'd still say she was anorexic."

Rivers however, attempted to amend her statements by adding, "Am I sorry she died? Of course I am, for God's sake," in addition to her heartfelt tweet on Saturday: "Whitney Houston. What a sad tragedy — the end of the life of an incredible talent. RIP to an amazing singer and legend."

She also believes that drugs were involved or contributed to Houston's death. "You take drugs, this is what happens." Rivers said she told her grandson. "There is no happy ending."

Houston passed away on Saturday at the age of 48. She was found in a bathtub in the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

Meanwhile, Rivers and her castmates handed out fashion citations outside of Lincoln Center as part of the Fashion Week episode. It's set to air on February 24.
